4,400 Chickens Die from Bird Flu in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh; Surveillance Measures Increased
On March 24, Dr. G.S. Tanwar, the Joint Director of the Veterinary Department, reported that approximately 4,400 chickens succumbed to a viral infection at the government poultry farm located in the Koni area. The incident occurred within a span of five days, from March 19 to March 24.
The Veterinary Department is currently investigating the cause of the outbreak and implementing measures to control the spread of the infection.
