Israeli Defense Firm Delivers Initial Shipment of Light Machine Guns to India

PLR Systems, a joint venture between Israeli Weapons Industries (IWI) and the Adani Group, has successfully completed a delivery of small arms and ammunition. This marks a significant achievement as PLR Systems is recognized as the first private entity in India permitted to manufacture these defense products. The joint venture aims to enhance Indias defense capabilities while contributing to the governments “Make in India” initiative, which seeks to boost domestic manufacturing and reduce reliance on imports in the defense sector.
