Bengaluru International Airport (BIAL) has recently achieved two significant milestones. Terminal 2 has been awarded a prestigious 5-star rating by Skytrax, making it the first airport terminal in India to receive this honor. This rating reflects the terminals exceptional service quality, passenger experience, and overall operational excellence.

In addition to this accolade, BIAL has also attained the highest Level 5 Accreditation under the Airport Council Internationals (ACI) Airport Carbon Accreditation program. This achievement highlights the airports commitment to sustainability and environmental management, indicating that it has effectively implemented measures to reduce its carbon footprint.
