Mamata Banerjee: “19 States and Central Government United Against Me, I Am Advocating for the Common People”
During a rally in Suri, located in the Birbhum district, the leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), Mamata Banerjee, expressed her confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would not succeed in securing victory in the upcoming West Bengal elections by relying on external forces from Delhi.
Banerjees remarks come as the political landscape in West Bengal becomes increasingly competitive, with the TMC, the ruling party in the state, gearing up for significant challenges. She emphasized the partys commitment to local governance and addressing the concerns of West Bengals residents.
The TMC has a strong support base in the state, while the BJP has been attempting to increase its influence in West Bengal, which has historically been a stronghold for the TMC. The elections are anticipated to be closely contested, with both parties ramping up their campaigning efforts in the lead-up to the polls.
