RTI Commissioner Emphasizes Importance of Ambedkars Ideals in Daily Life at Andhra University
RTI Commissioner P.S. Naidu emphasized the importance of practicing the ideals of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on a daily basis during a recent event held at Andhra University in Visakhapatnam, commemorating Ambedkar Jayanti.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a key architect of the Indian Constitution and a prominent advocate for social justice and equality, is celebrated annually on April 14th, the date of his birth. Naidus remarks highlighted the relevance of Ambedkars teachings in contemporary society, urging attendees, particularly students and educators, to actively integrate these values into their daily lives.
The event featured several speakers who discussed Ambedkar’s contributions to the empowerment of marginalized communities and the promotion of social equity. Additionally, cultural programs and discussions centered around the significance of Ambedkars vision for a just and inclusive society were conducted, attracting participation from various sections of the university and local community.
