VMC to Supply Water from Andra Reservoir to Fort City
Fort City requires approximately 47 million liters of water per day to meet the demands of its residents and businesses. However, during the months of April and May, water availability has reportedly fallen to below 35 million liters per day (MLD). This shortfall raises concerns about water sustainability, especially as the region experiences seasonal variations in water supply.
Local authorities are currently assessing the situation to develop strategies that could help bridge the gap between demand and supply. This may include enhancing water conservation measures, optimizing the existing infrastructure, and exploring alternative water sources. As the dry season approaches, the community is urged to use water efficiently to mitigate the impact of this deficit. Further updates are expected as the government responds to the ongoing water supply challenges.
