APPCB Establishes Help Desk in Ongole to Assist Industrialists with Pollution Permit Applications

A new assistance desk has been established to support industrial units in the Prakasam and Bapatla districts with the application process on the Andhra Pradesh Online Consent Management and Monitoring System (APOCMMS) portal. This initiative aims to streamline the process for obtaining critical approvals, specifically the ‘Consent for Establishment’ and ‘Consent for Operation’, which are essential for industries to start and continue their operations legally.

The desk will provide guidance on completing applications accurately and efficiently, thereby reducing processing delays that can impede business development. By improving access to these permits, the initiative is expected to foster a more conducive environment for industrial growth in the region, ultimately contributing to the local economy.
