Edappally Junction Flyovers Expected to Open by August

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is in the process of constructing viaducts at Edappally Junction, a key traffic intersection in Kerala. These viaducts are being built to facilitate the seamless flow of traffic by diverting vehicles through a pair of vehicle underpasses. In addition to the ongoing construction, soil testing is being conducted to evaluate the ground conditions for the approach roads that will connect to the viaducts.

The improvements at Edappally Junction aim to reduce congestion and enhance safety for motorists. Once completed, these viaducts are expected to significantly streamline vehicular movement in the area, which is known for heavy traffic congestion. The NHAI continues to monitor the project closely to ensure timely completion, which is part of broader infrastructure development initiatives intended to improve transportation networks across the region.
