Amit Shah Appointed Central Observer for West Bengal, Nadda Assigned to Assam

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini and Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi have been designated as co-observers for the states of Assam and West Bengal, according to an official notification.

This appointment is part of a broader strategy by the Indian government to enhance administrative oversight and facilitate cooperation between various states. The role of co-observers typically involves monitoring the implementation of government programs, assessing regional issues, and providing support to local administrations in their efforts to address developmental challenges.

Both leaders bring a wealth of experience to their new roles, as they have previously handled key portfolios within their respective state governments. This initiative reflects the governments commitment to ensuring effective governance and fostering collaboration among states in addressing socio-economic issues. The co-observers will likely engage with local officials to better understand the unique challenges faced by Assam and West Bengal and report back with recommendations for improvement.
