Naidu Directs Officials to Accelerate Seed Distribution for Farmers
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced an allocation of ₹200 crore for the distribution of seeds to local farmers. During a recent review meeting, he discussed the procurement processes for key agricultural products, including paddy, banana, tobacco, and oil palm.
In a push to enhance agricultural education and research, the Chief Minister also unveiled plans to establish an Indian School of Agriculture in Madanapalle. This institution aims to provide advanced training and resources to farmers and students, promoting sustainable agricultural practices and improving crop yields.
The states agricultural sector plays a crucial role in the economy, and the government’s initiatives are expected to bolster productivity and support farmers in overcoming challenges related to crop management and market fluctuations.
