Pre-SIR Mapping Progresses in Hyderabad, Achieving 37% Completion
In preparation for the 2022 Special Independent Review (SIR), over 300 help desks have been set up throughout the city, ensuring that each of the constituencies hosts a minimum of 20 assistance points. These help desks aim to provide essential support to voters, helping them locate their respective constituencies and designated polling stations.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance voter accessibility and participation in the upcoming electoral process. Each help desk will be staffed by trained personnel who can offer guidance on voting procedures, answer questions about the election, and facilitate a smoother experience for all voters.
Officials have emphasized the importance of voter education and accessibility as key components of a successful electoral process. With these measures in place, authorities hope to encourage higher voter turnout and ensure that citizens can exercise their right to vote confidently.
