TVK President Vijay to be Sworn in as Chief Minister on May 10; Coalition Government Forming in T.N.

The Thamizhaga V savarkar Katchi (TVK) party has successfully garnered the support of five Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the Congress party who have been elected. Additionally, two MLAs each from the Communist Party of India (CPI), the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) have also pledged their support to TVK. This collaboration raises TVKs total count of supporters to 120, strengthening its position within the political landscape.

This strategic alignment among the parties indicates a potential shift in power dynamics, particularly as they gear up for upcoming legislative sessions and policies that may affect various social and economic issues in the region. The consolidation of votes may also influence discussions around coalition formations and governance priorities moving forward.
