Chinas Foreign Minister to Miss BRICS Delhi Meeting Due to Scheduling Conflicts

Beijing has announced that Xu Feihong, the Chinese Ambassador to India, will represent the country at the upcoming BRICS summit. The Chinese government has expressed its willingness to collaborate with all member nations of the BRICS group—Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa—during India’s presidency of the organization.

The BRICS summit, which focuses on enhancing economic cooperation, political dialogue, and cultural exchange among member countries, is expected to address various global challenges, including economic instability, climate change, and security issues. As India assumes the chairmanship, it is anticipated to promote initiatives aimed at solidifying partnerships within the bloc, furthering development, and facilitating dialogue on key international concerns.

This collaboration reflects Chinas ongoing diplomatic efforts to strengthen relationships within BRICS, particularly in light of the growing geopolitical dynamics in Asia and beyond.
