In a rapid turnaround of just 36 days, planning for a new project aimed at transforming the Rayalaseema region into a prominent aerospace and defense hub has been completed. Former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu highlighted that this initiative is expected to enhance India’s self-reliance in the defense sector significantly.
The project, which is part of Indias broader strategy to bolster domestic manufacturing capabilities in aerospace and defense, will provide a framework for businesses and research institutions in the region. It is anticipated to create numerous job opportunities and foster technological advancements in the field.
Naidu emphasized the importance of such developments for regional economic growth and national security, noting that self-sufficiency in defense production is crucial for Indias strategic interests. The initiative, in line with the governments Make in India mission, seeks to attract investments and nurture local talent in the aerospace and defense industries.
