CNG Prices Increase Again in Delhi Within 48 Hours Due to Rising Input Costs

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is currently priced at ₹80.09 per kilogram in the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi, following a recent increase. The latest hike, which took effect on May 15, 2026, saw a rise of ₹2 per kilogram.

This adjustment in pricing is part of a broader trend in energy costs influenced by various factors, including fluctuations in global natural gas prices, changes in supply chains, and domestic demand. CNG is widely used in the region as a cleaner alternative to conventional fuels for vehicles, which supports the governments efforts to reduce air pollution and promote sustainable energy solutions.

As of now, this pricing shift is expected to impact consumers who rely on CNG for transportation. Authorities continue to monitor market conditions and evaluate the pricing strategy in response to ongoing developments in the energy sector.
