Uttar Pradesh to Recruit 10,000 New Teachers to Strengthen Education System

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced that a requisition for the hiring of 10,000 new teachers has been submitted to the Education Service Selection Commission. This initiative is part of the governments ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education in the state by addressing workforce shortages in schools.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the recruitment process is aimed at enhancing the educational environment and providing students with better access to quality instruction. These new positions are expected to fill gaps in various districts, particularly in rural areas where the teacher-student ratio has been a concern.

The Education Service Selection Commission is responsible for overseeing the recruitment process, which includes the formulation of guidelines, conducting examinations, and selecting qualified candidates. The timeline for the recruitment and the criteria for the applicants have not yet been officially disclosed.

This move follows a series of educational reforms put forth by the state government, including curriculum updates and infrastructure improvements, as well as initiatives aimed at increasing student enrollment and retention in schools.
