Naidu Participates in Gangamamba Jatara in Kuppam, Enjoys Roadside Ice Apples with Toddy Tappers

Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Nara Bhuvaneswari participated in a ritual at a local temple, where they presented silk robes as offerings. Following this ceremony, the leaders took a brief stop by the roadside to sample thati munjalu, a traditional fruit known for its purity and natural cultivation methods, free from adulterants and artificial ripening agents such as carbide.

The practice of offering silk robes at temples is a customary act of devotion in the region, reflecting the cultural significance of such ceremonies in promoting local craftsmanship and heritage. Thati munjalu, also known as wood apple or Bael fruit, is not only cherished for its unique flavor and aroma but is also recognized for its health benefits. The health-conscious public is increasingly favoring naturally grown produce, which aligns with the leaders emphasis on quality and safety in food consumption. This event underscores the ongoing efforts by local government officials and community leaders to promote agricultural practices that prioritize organic and sustainable farming methods.
