Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan Elected as Speaker of Kerala Assembly

In the recent elections for the position of Speaker, Thiruvanchoor of the Indian National Congress secured a decisive victory, receiving 101 votes. By contrast, A.C. Moideen, representing the Opposition Left Democratic Front (LDF), garnered 35 votes, while B.B. Gopakumar from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) received 3 votes.
