Government Prioritizes Swift Expansion of PNG Network in Andhra Pradesh
Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar has pledged to enhance collaboration with companies by streamlining the permissions process, especially in urban and semi-urban regions. This initiative aims to facilitate quicker approvals for projects related to the promotion of Piped Natural Gas (PNG).
In addition to this effort, Minister Manohar has emphasized the importance of awareness campaigns designed to educate the public about the benefits of transitioning from Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) to PNG. He believes that increased awareness of PNG’s advantages, including cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits, will encourage consumers to make the switch.
The shift towards PNG is aligned with broader government initiatives to promote cleaner energy sources and reduce reliance on traditional fuels. As urbanization continues to rise, the demand for sustainable energy solutions is becoming increasingly important. The minister’s commitment is expected to play a significant role in fostering a smoother transition to PNG, thereby contributing to energy sustainability and reducing carbon emissions in urban areas.
