Forum Requests Reforms in Education Sector from UDF Government in Kerala

The All India Save Education Committee has called for an investigation into what it describes as the deterioration of the education system in the state over the past decade.

The committee attributes this perceived collapse to a variety of factors, including inadequate funding, outdated curricula, and insufficient teacher training. They argue that such issues have led to declining student performance and accessibility problems, particularly in rural and underserved urban areas.

The committee is urging government officials and educational authorities to conduct a comprehensive review of the state’s education policies and practices over the last ten years. This investigation, they believe, could provide insights into the systemic issues affecting education and help identify effective solutions to restore quality and equity in the states schooling system.

Additionally, they have proposed a series of reforms aimed at improving infrastructure, modernizing teaching methods, and increasing investment in educational resources. The committees push for accountability and enhancement of the education system reflects growing concerns from parents, educators, and stakeholders about the current state of education in the region.
