Yoga Sessions Scheduled at 120 Locations in Mysuru on June 21
In celebration of the 12th International Day of Yoga, which will be observed on June 21, the Mysuru Yoga Federation has organized yoga sessions across 120 different venues in the city. This initiative aims to promote wellness and mindfulness, encouraging community members to participate in yoga practices that foster physical and mental well-being.
The International Day of Yoga, established by the United Nations in 2014, highlights the importance of yoga in promoting overall health and harmony among individuals. The 2023 theme, which has yet to be announced, typically emphasizes unity and the benefits of practicing yoga.
Participation in the Mysuru sessions is expected to attract a diverse group of individuals, from beginners to experienced practitioners. The federation’s efforts not only aim to raise awareness about the benefits of yoga but also to create a sense of community engagement and active participation in healthy lifestyle practices.
