Karnataka Government Establishes Quantum Task Force

A newly formed committee in Karnataka has been tasked with the critical responsibility of planning and supervising the development of advanced infrastructure projects in the state. Among its key initiatives is the ambitious Mega Quantum City project located in Hesaraghatta, which aims to position Karnataka as a leader in quantum technology and innovation.

The Mega Quantum City is expected to serve as a hub for research, development, and commercialization of quantum technology, fostering collaboration between academic institutions, industry leaders, and startups. The initiative is in alignment with the states broader goal of enhancing its technological landscape and attracting investment in emerging fields.

In addition to the Mega Quantum City, the committee will also focus on other significant infrastructure projects aimed at improving connectivity, sustainability, and technological advancements across Karnataka, thereby facilitating economic growth and job creation in the region.
