HDPT to Launch Large-Scale Plantation Initiative Along Gundlakamma River on June 5
In observance of World Environment Day, the Gundlakamma Haritha Haara Yagnam initiative is set to be officially launched on Friday across seven constituencies. The event will be concurrently inaugurated by local Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and Members of Parliament (MPs).
This program aims to promote environmental conservation efforts, focusing on afforestation, waste management, and sustainable practices within the community. The initiative aligns with the global theme of World Environment Day, which underscores the importance of sustainable habits in preserving natural resources and combating climate change.
The Gundlakamma Haritha Haara Yagnam is expected to not only engage local residents but also raise awareness about the pivotal role of individuals and communities in environmental protection. Activities may include tree planting drives, educational workshops, and cleanup campaigns, fostering a collective commitment towards a greener future.
As communities participate in this significant event, further details regarding specific launch activities and volunteer opportunities will be made available through local government channels.
