SGPC Secures Visas for 541 Sikh Pilgrims to Visit Pakistan for Guru Arjan Dev Martyrdom Anniversary
A group of pilgrims is set to embark on a journey to visit several historic Sikh shrines as part of a religious pilgrimage. During this visit, they will have the opportunity to pay their respects and participate in various commemorative events commemorating significant aspects of Sikh history and culture. The pilgrimage is expected to foster spiritual reflections and a sense of community among attendees. The group will return to India on June 19.
These historic sites are significant to the Sikh faith, with many visitors typically engaging in prayers, rituals, and the sharing of communal meals, known as langar. The pilgrimage also serves to strengthen community ties, educate attendees about their heritage, and promote the values of peace and service inherent in Sikhism.
