NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Conducted Under Enhanced Security Measures and Strict Oversight by NTA

In response to concerns regarding a potential paper leak for the NEET-UG 2026 examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the government have implemented a comprehensive security framework for the re-examination scheduled on June 21. This initiative follows incidents leading to heightened scrutiny of the examination process.

To maintain integrity and fairness, more than 500,000 security personnel will be deployed across various examination centers in India and abroad. Enhanced measures include biometric verification, facial recognition technology, and real-time CCTV monitoring to ensure a secure testing environment. Furthermore, question paper setters are required to adhere to strict isolation protocols, and surveillance of social media platforms is being conducted to mitigate the spread of misinformation.

This years NEET-UG examination is anticipated to attract over 2.2 million candidates nationwide, who seek admission to undergraduate medical programs. The governments commitment to uphold the transparency and credibility of the examination aims to reassure students and stakeholders in the education sector.
