Siraj Withdrawn from T20I Series Against Ireland and England; Krishna Appointed as Replacement

Indias pace bowler Mohammed Siraj has been removed from the T20 International squads for the upcoming tours of Ireland and England. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has stated that this decision is part of a workload management strategy aimed at ensuring Sirajs recovery prior to a demanding cricket season ahead.

Sirajs withdrawal is seen as a precautionary measure, reflecting the BCCIs commitment to the players long-term fitness and performance. In his absence, pacer Prasidh Krishna has been named as his replacement in the squad, which will be led by Shreyas Iyer.

Additionally, the team features promising young talent Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has been gaining attention for his potential in domestic cricket. The Indian team will be looking to build a strong foundation in the T20 format during these tours before tackling the upcoming cricketing challenges, including bilateral series and tournaments in the international calendar.
