Efforts Underway to Modernize 150 AYUSH Centers in Andhra Pradesh, According to Health Minister

Sartya Kumar Yadav has announced that modernization efforts are currently underway at 90 AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy) centers. Additionally, the government is in the process of constructing new AYUSH health facilities within 60 government hospitals across the region.

AYUSH centers aim to promote traditional Indian systems of medicine and wellness, integrating these practices into the broader healthcare framework. The modernization initiative is expected to enhance infrastructure, update medical equipment, and improve the overall quality of services offered at these centers. The expansion of AYUSH health centers in government hospitals will further facilitate access to alternative medicine for patients and promote holistic healthcare options.

These developments are part of a broader push by the government to enhance healthcare services and cater to the increasing demand for alternative medical treatments in the country. Further details regarding the funding, completion timelines, and specific locations of the new health centers have not yet been disclosed.
