Amit Shah Conducts Review of Security Measures for Amarnath Yatra

Officials have been instructed to implement comprehensive security measures at major tourist destinations in addition to the areas along the Yatra route. The Yatra, an important pilgrimage, is set to take place this year from July 3 to August 28. This initiative aims to enhance safety and security for visitors as the pilgrimage season approaches. The Yatra is traditionally marked by a significant influx of pilgrims, and authorities are taking proactive steps to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all participants. In light of the expected attendance, local law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with tourism officials, will be deploying additional personnel and resources to maintain safety across both the Yatra route and other popular tourist sites.
