Maharashtra to Present Women Farmers Empowerment Bill in Upcoming Monsoon Session

The meeting was attended by several key officials, including Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar, Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharane, and Minister of State for Agriculture Ashish Jaiswal.

The draft Bill is expected to address various agricultural issues and reforms in the state, aiming to enhance the productivity and financial security of farmers. This initiative comes as the Maharashtra government seeks to bolster the agricultural sector, which plays a crucial role in the states economy. The proposed legislation will likely undergo further evaluation and revisions before it is presented for broader legislative consideration. Further updates are anticipated as the government continues to engage with stakeholders in the agriculture sector.
