Collector Advocates for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives in Palghars Tribal Region

As part of an initiative to enhance local tourism, the district collector conducted an inspection of a two-way zipline project in Kasatwadi, which has an estimated budget of ₹1.2 crore and is expected to open within the next month. This project aims to attract adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts to the region.

In addition, the collector also evaluated plans for a proposed ₹2 crore skywalk glass bridge at the Dabhosa waterfall, which is set to be developed under a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. This type of project typically involves a private entity financing and constructing the facility, with the expectation of operating it for a designated period before transferring ownership to the government.

These developments are part of a broader strategy to improve infrastructure and promote tourism within the district, potentially leading to increased economic activity and job creation in the area.
