CtrlS in Hyderabad Secures ₹7,000 Crore Investment from Canada Pension Plan Investment Board

CPP Investments is set to acquire an 8.2% stake in CtrlS for ₹4,000 crore (approximately $480 million). In addition to this equity investment, CPP Investments will also allocate ₹3,000 crore (approximately $360 million) towards a new joint venture with CtrlS. The joint venture aims to develop hyperscale data center campuses throughout India, tapping into the growing demand for data storage and processing capabilities in the digital economy.

CtrlS, based in Hyderabad, has established itself as a leading provider of data center solutions in India, known for its focus on high-quality infrastructure and services that cater to various industries including IT, telecommunications, and e-commerce.
