B.K. Hariprasad Addresses Concerns Over Alleged BJP and RSS Conspiracy

Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President B.K. Hariprasad stated that the Congress party does not oppose the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter rolls. However, he expressed concerns regarding what he described as a concerted effort by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to disenfranchise legitimate voters.

Hariprasad emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of the electoral process and ensuring that all eligible voters have the opportunity to participate in elections. He called for transparency in the SIR process to prevent any undue influence or manipulation of electoral rolls.

The Special Intensive Revision initiative, aimed at updating and verifying voter information, plays a critical role in promoting fair and democratic elections. The KPCCs position highlights ongoing tensions between political parties in Karnataka, particularly in the context of upcoming electoral events. The Congress partys vigilance reflects broader concerns about electoral integrity in India, where issues of voter disenfranchisement have surfaced in various regions.
