NTA Provides Update on OMR Sheets as Answer Key Objection Period for Re-NEET UG 2026 Begins

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that candidates of the NEET UG 2026 examination will receive their Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets separately after they have been scanned. This step is designed to facilitate candidates verification of their responses against the provisional answer key, which is available for challenges until June 28, 2026.

This initiative is part of NTAs efforts to enhance transparency in the evaluation process. By allowing early access to OMR sheets, the agency aims to streamline the evaluation process and address candidates concerns more effectively. After the objection window closes, no further challenges will be accepted.

Following this phase, NTA will release the final answer key and the results of the examination. The NEET UG, or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate courses, is a crucial examination for students seeking admission to medical colleges in India. It attracts a large number of candidates annually, making the integrity and transparency of the process a top priority for the NTA.
