Hero MotoCorp to Invest ₹3,200 Crore in Andhra Pradesh
Hero MotoCorp is set to invest ₹3,200 crore in Andhra Pradesh over the next three to five years, a move aimed at strengthening its manufacturing capabilities and enhancing its global supply chain. This substantial investment aligns with the companys strategy to diversify into new business areas.
A central feature of this investment is the establishment of a new Global Parts Centre in Tirupati, which is expected to significantly streamline operations and logistics for the companys parts distribution. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp plans to double its production capacity at existing facilities.
The expansion is projected to create approximately 4,000 jobs in the region, further contributing to local economic development. This initiative underscores Hero MotoCorps commitment to Andhra Pradesh, a state that has been actively fostering industrial growth and investment in recent years. The companys move is expected to not only benefit its operations but also support the broader objectives of the state government to enhance manufacturing and create employment opportunities.
