Air India Express jet stuck on Phuket runway after losing nose wheel during landing

An Air India Express aircraft experienced a technical issue with its nose wheel while landing at Phuket International Airport. As a result, the plane became immobilized on the runway, prompting airport authorities to temporarily close the runway for safety reasons. The closure lasted for approximately five hours to facilitate the removal of the aircraft. There were no reported injuries among passengers or crew members.
