MHA Identifies 23 Individuals in Pakistan as Terrorists Under UAPA Regulations
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced that including the names of identified terrorists on a designated list will enable the agency to take crucial measures against them. By doing so, the NIA aims to disrupt the financial networks that support terrorist activities. This action will facilitate the blocking of financial resources, impose restrictions on arms sales, and allow for the seizure of assets associated with these individuals.
This strategic move aligns with international efforts to combat terrorism funding and enhance national security. It is part of a broader framework under the United Nations’ Security Council resolutions that call for member states to take measures against entities and individuals involved in terrorist activities. The NIAs initiative may also enhance collaboration with global intelligence agencies to track and monitor the financial activities of these terrorists.
