Cloud Seeding Initiated in Haveri Funded by Six MLAs

In response to the limited rainfall experienced this monsoon season, six Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) from the district have united to offer financial support for artificial rain-making initiatives. This collaborative effort aims to address the adverse effects of the insufficient monsoon, which may have significant implications for agriculture, water supply, and local livelihoods.

The MLAs are advocating for the implementation of cloud seeding technology, which involves dispersing substances into the atmosphere to encourage precipitation. Such initiatives are particularly important in drought-prone areas where water scarcity can severely impact crop yields and water availability for communities.
