CAT 2026 Notification Released; Registration Opens August 3

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2026 notification has been officially released on the IIM CAT website. Registration for the exam will commence on August 3, 2026, and will remain open until September 15, 2026. The CAT exam is set to take place on November 29, 2026, with results anticipated to be announced in early January 2027.

To be eligible for the exam, candidates must hold a bachelors degree from a recognized institution, and there is no upper age limit for applicants. The exam will comprise a total of 68 multiple-choice and non-multiple-choice questions divided into three key sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. Each section will have specific time allotments, allowing candidates to manage their time effectively during the test.

The CAT is a highly competitive entrance examination for admission into various management programs offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and other premier business schools across India. As such, candidates are encouraged to prepare adequately and stay updated on any further instructions from the examination authorities.
