This financial performance reflects robust growth across various sectors within the Tata Group, highlighting the company’s resilience and strategic initiatives following the challenges posed by market fluctuations.

In related news, Tata Groups revenue reached ₹16.24 lakh crore during the same fiscal year, marking a remarkable increase of 51.9%. This growth underscores the groups diversification and its focus on sectors such as electronics and automotive, positioning it favorably in an evolving market landscape. N. Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of Tata Sons, emphasized the importance of new sectors like semiconductor manufacturing, stating, “Chips are the new steel,” indicating Tata Electronics ambition to encompass the entire semiconductor value chain.

Despite the commendable profit and revenue growth, Tata-operated Air India faced a loss of ₹22,238 crore in FY26.
