IndiGo Airlines to Discontinue Widebody Operations and Return Leased Aircraft

IndiGo Airlines, one of Indias leading low-cost carriers, has announced that it will cease its widebody aircraft operations effective October 25, 2023. This decision includes ending its lease agreements for Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which the airline had been using for international routes, particularly to London and Amsterdam.
