Vijay Deverakonda visits Goddess Mahankali for blessings
Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Anand Deverakonda paid a visit to the Sri Simhavahini Mahankali Temple in Hyderabads Old City on August 9, where they participated in the Bonalu festival celebrations. Accompanying them was director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his work in films like “Arjun Reddy” and “Kabir Singh.”
During their visit, the actors offered prayers and sought blessings from Goddess Mahankali, a deity widely revered in the region. The Bonalu festival, which celebrates the goddess’s bounty and is observed predominantly in Telangana, involves offerings of food and other items from devotees as a sign of gratitude.
In the vibrant and festive atmosphere, the trio also took the time to interact with local devotees, who expressed their excitement at the presence of the well-known film personalities. The event highlighted the cultural significance of Bonalu, which has been celebrated for over a century, as well as the community spirit that accompanies such religious observances.
