Karnataka Cabinet Portfolio Allocation Announced Ahead of Monsoon Session
The Karnataka state government has finalized its cabinet portfolio allocations just ahead of the upcoming Monsoon session. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah is retaining the vital portfolios of Finance and Cabinet Affairs, which are critical for the administrations fiscal policies and strategic decision-making processes.
D.K. Shivakumar, the Deputy Chief Minister, will oversee the Finance portfolio, a role that carries significant responsibility due to its impact on the states economic health. KH Muniyappa has been assigned the Social Welfare department, highlighting the governments focus on social issues and welfare programs.
