PM distributes land deeds to Assam’s tea workers

During a campaign event in Assam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the issue of land rights for plantation workers, stating that they had waited years for these rights due to a lack of action from the Congress Party while they were in power. He highlighted that the current initiative is the first of its kind in the 200-year history of the tea industry in Assam.
