A chance meeting at a railway station in Germany brought to light the remarkable achievements of two engineers from Bengaluru, who defied the prevailing notion in the 1980s that sophisticated industrial components could only be obtained through imports. Pritam Singh Mogewala, from Dashmesh Engineering, is credited with developing a specialized fixture for Hero Honda, a component that many believed could only be manufactured abroad, specifically in Japan.

Working alongside his colleague B. K.
