GATE 2027 Registration Postponed; Applications to Open on August 27

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has announced a change in the registration timeline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2027. The new application period will commence on August 27, 2026, which includes an option for candidates to submit their applications with a late fee.

Additionally, there will be a correction window for applicants to make amendments to their submissions from October 14 to October 21, 2026, allowing candidates to rectify any errors in their applications.

The GATE 2027 examinations are scheduled to take place on several dates: February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027. This national-level exam is crucial for engineering graduates seeking admission to postgraduate programs and for securing various job opportunities in public sector undertakings.
