UGC NET June 2026 Answer Key Released: Response Sheet and Objection Window Information Available

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to release the provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2026 examination today, August 16. This release will include candidates response sheets and the question papers for the exam, which encompassed 87 subjects and was administered using a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answers through an objection window, although the exact closing date for submitting objections has yet to be announced. Once the objection period concludes, the NTA will publish the final answer key, anticipated to be available in the fourth week of August. Subsequently, the results and scorecards for the June session are expected to be released in the last week of August.

The UGC NET is a critical examination for candidates aspiring to qualify for assistant professor positions and secure junior research fellowships in Indian universities. Keeping track of these timelines is essential for candidates seeking to review their performance and understand the next steps in their academic careers.
