FSSAI Issues Notices to Delhis JW Marriott and Andaz Hotels for Hygiene Violations

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued notices to the JW Marriott and Andaz hotels in Delhi due to serious hygiene violations. Reports indicate that inspections at both luxury establishments revealed the presence of cockroaches, expired food items, and unpleasant odors.

Specifically, the FSSAI highlighted the discovery of 87 kilograms of expired sweets and other unsanitary conditions, which include pest infestations. These findings come ahead of the upcoming BRICS Summit, at which both hotels are slated to accommodate international guests.
