Russia Imports 1 Million Barrels from India in Two Months

In August 2023, Russias seaborne gasoline imports reached a record high of approximately 125,000 barrels per day (kbd), translating to around 470,000 tonnes for the month. This significant increase in imports is believed to be influenced by recent supply from Indian refiners, who reportedly exported close to 1 million barrels of gasoline to Russia in the preceding two months.
