Centre Allocates ₹1,156 Crore in 15th Finance Commission Grants to Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tripura

The Government of India has announced the release of ₹1,156 crore in grants from the 15th Finance Commission, benefiting the states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tripura. This financial assistance is part of the governments effort to support state economies and enhance public welfare projects.

Of the total allocation, Andhra Pradesh will receive ₹318 crore, Maharashtra will be granted ₹547 crore, and Tripura will obtain ₹291 crore. These funds are expected to be utilized for various development initiatives, including infrastructure improvement, healthcare services, and educational programs.

The 15th Finance Commission was established to recommend the distribution of financial resources between the central government and the states for the financial years 2021-2026. This recent disbursement highlights the ongoing commitment to ensuring fiscal stability and promoting equitable growth across different regions of the country.
