Government Approves One-Time Interest-Free Loan of Rs 50,000 per Acre for FCV Tobacco Growers in Andhra Pradesh

The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved a one-time, interest-free loan of ₹50,000 per barn for growers of Flue-Cured Virginia (FCV) tobacco. This initiative aims to provide financial support to farmers affected by market fluctuations and adverse weather conditions.

The decision follows ongoing discussions between the government and agricultural stakeholders, highlighting the importance of the tobacco industry in the regions economy.
